Seeking someone who is technically versed in all aspects of technical packaging design and development as well as being versed in technical discussions and interfaces with manufacturer production and packaging systems
Deep packaging experience and business acumen, able to balance technical packaging excellence with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a business context
Part of an R&D team that owns the design, development and deployment of paper bottle packaging
Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task are essential
Primarily based from our facility near Sawston, Cambridgeshire
R&D Laboratory Technician (3+ years' experience)
Seeking an R&D Laboratory Technician to support the technical development of Pulpex products, including coating development. at our R&D facility in Sawston, Cambridgeshire, UK
Minimum A-Level in a scientific area + 3 years working in a laboratory environment in a technician role
Reporting into and undertake work as identified by Senior Chemical Engineer
Analysing data, writing reports and testing of samples to support projects
Responsible for maintenance of laboratory and analytical equipment
Work in-line with laboratory procedures to maintain a clean / safe working laboratory environment and actively identify areas for improvement
Implementation of COSHH and risk assessments for new chemicals and equipment
Process / Production Engineer
A role focussed on continuous improvement of every step in our production process and the production output
Immersed in the development of the next generation line
Background in Engineering, probably CEng in either mechanical or chemical disciplines
Experience in applying improvement methodologies such Six Sigma and with recognised certification in those
Design Engineer
Leading the design team and partners developing the next generation of the Pulpex production line
Taking ownership of disciplines that are difficult to find commercially today, such as moulding and thermoforming
Formal training as a designer and a Degree or higher in Mechanical engineering
Project Manager
Experienced in working technical fields and ideally entrepreneurial business
Formal accreditation through APM, Prince or ITIL
Familiar with working across different methodologies, including Agile
CAD Engineer
Good knowledge of data management tools
Experience and certification with using 3D CAD tools
Degree educated in Engineering or science field.
Preferably experience in a research organisation
