THE FUTURE OF
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
WE ARE PULPEX
A proven, patented and scalable packaging
technology ready to be deployed globally
heralding in an exciting and greener future.
With over 1.3 trillion glass and plastic bottles produced globally each year, Pulpex works closely with industry leaders representing some of the largest international brands across a broad range of consumer goods sectors.
Together, our goal is to harness the ecological credentials of pulp to champion a revolutionary approach to packaging – a present day ‘hot topic’ on almost every corporate CSR and sustainability agenda.
So, with an ever-increasing, eco-conscious world population, Diageo and Pilot Lite came together through a substantial R&D collaboration to offer much more than just an environmentally sound solution.
We're delighted to have the invaluable support and collective formed fibre experience of both our corporate and sustainability partners as we look towards making our new UK high-speed production line available to all during 2024.

PULPEX BOTTLES ARE...
Adaptable design
Capable of being designed to fit your brand needs as an accompaniment to your current packaging portfolio
Flexible technology
A patented technology designed to be easily incorporated into any packaging manufacturer’s current filling infrastructure
PULPEX IS NOT...
Pulp wrapped around plastic
Pulpex bottles are PET-free / HDPE-free and are made entirely from sustainably sourced wood pulp from 100% renewable feedstocks and responsibly managed forests.
Pulp infused into PET
The inside of our bottles are sprayed with proprietary, food-grade coatings depending on whether the bottled product is oil- or aqueous-based.
A distant future fantasy
High-speed production lines will soon be mass-producing Pulpex bottles with the aim of creating over 750m bottles per year for an array of global brands by 2025.
SOON OUR BOTTLES WILL BE...
Cheaper than
most glass bottles
This fledgling technology requires sustainability leaders to take ownership of the cost of sustainability
Capable of taking carbonated products
As soon as the technology allows, we will be looking to introduce this feature as part of the wider portfolio
Capable of taking hot-fill products
This is something we’re working on already and look forward to sharing an update in the not-too-distant future
